The CL Air Pump Series by Cloverleaf offer more peace of mind to the fish keeper than your average air pump. They are controlled by a microcomputer and in the event of a mains power failure they automatically switch to battery power backup. The battery takes itself on and off charge as required and offers 8 hours of constant operation when mains power fails. The nature of the battery backup means that these units can be portable, particularly useful if you need to transport your fish e.g. when moving house. These air pumps also offer an adjustable flow rate and come complete with an air divider attachment and non-return valve.
Please note that the manufacturer recommend that pumps using a constant AC (mains) power supply should be switched to DC (battery) mode once every 2 months in order to maintain battery life. Please make sure that your pump is switched back to AC after 8 hours has passed.
In order to use this product, you will need air line and air stones/diffusers (not included).
