Waterlife BioMature safely starts filters in marine, tropical and cold water aquaria by feeding filter bacteria. It should be used when setting up new tanks and can also be used to keep livestock free hospital and quarantine tanks ready for use.
Please note that this product should never be used in aquaria where fish, invertebrates or plants are present.
Dosage for new set ups: 1ml of Waterlife BioMature per 30L of aquarium water every day. Before daily dose test the aquarium water with Ammonia and Nitrite test kits. When a reading of 5-10ppm in either test is achieved cease treating with this product and commence treatment with Waterlife Bacterlife to speed up maturation. Once Ammonia and Nitrite readings are zero, you can very gradually add livestock to your aquarium.
Dosage for maintaining empty hospital/quarantine tanks: 1ml of Waterlife BioMature per 30L of aquarium water every 7 days.
