Anti-Velvet & Slime by NT Labs is suitable for use in tropical and cold water aquariums. Some species of parasites such as: Costia, Trichodina, Oodinium and Flukes can cause fish to produce a whitish mucus layer known as velvet or slime disease. Anti-Velvet & Slime is a single dose treatment to eradicate these protozoan parasites. As well as appearing to be covered in a whitish film, fish afflicted by this may also display signs of irritation, clamped fins and gasping.
100ml of Anti-Velvet & Slime will treat 500L of aquarium water.
NB - This medicine will kill water snails and invertebrates.
