Swimbladder Treatment gets to work inside fish to eradicate disease causing bacteria like aeromomas and pseudomonas. These bacteria can cause stress and ultimately the death of your fish.
Fish with infected swimbladders often appear unstable in the water, sometimes hanging at the surface or lying on the bottom. This is because fish use their swimbladder for stability and buoyancy. They may also seem lethargic and have clamped fins.
Swimbladder treatment is harmless to unaffected fish, plants and filter bacteria.
Poor water quality is often at the root of stress and disease in fish. It is worth monitoring the water in your tank regularly to avoid this. There are many aquarium test kits on the market.
