This treatment from the Tetra Medica range is a fast acting remedy for White Spot and skin and gill parasites such as Trichodina and Chilodonella. It is suitable for use with all species of freshwater tropical fish. Symptoms that fish with these conditions can display includes: White spots or patches on the skin and fins, shaky, jerking movements, cramped fins, rapid breathing and dull mucous membranes.
During the 5 day treatment cycle of this product, please ensure that UV clarifiers are switched off and any active Carbon filter media is removed.
The recommended dosage of Tetra Medica Contralck in an established tank is 5ml per 20L of aquarium water. In cases where infection is severe this should rise to 5ml per 10L of water. If you have sensitive species of fish in your aquarium e.g. Clown Loach, you should reduce the does to 5ml per 40L of water.
