Evolution Aqua K1 Micro Filter Media is a smaller version of the class leading K1 Media. It has the same, wheel shaped design but is much smaller enabling it to provide an increased protected surface area of 950 m2 per m3.It can be used in static and moving bed filter systems and is suitable for use in cold water, tropical and marine aquaria filters as well as pond filtration systems.
K1 Micro Filter Media offers improved nitrification/de-nitrification, bio-film protection and better solids handling. This leads to increased water health and quality as well as improved flow, reducing back pressure on pumps.
