Juwel Cirax are highly porous ceramic-based pellets. Due to their large surface area Cirax create the perfect colonisation conditions for filter bacteria. This helps to ensure excellent water quality in your aquarium.
The pellets are contained in a special basket, tailored to the size of your Juwel filter.
Juwel Cirax filter media is suitable for use in both freshwater and saltwater aquariums and measures 9.5 x 9.5 x 4.5cm.
The Cirax cartridges are long lasting and only need to be replaced every 12 months.
